Nyong’o Under Fire After Launching A Fire Engine Belonging To Meru County

Photos of a fire rescue engine launched by Kisumu Governor Professor Anyang’ Nyong’o has left social media swooning with fury.

The Fire engine which is doubled in other pictures shows that it belonged to Meru County from a UK firm donation, Bedfordshire.

The engine bears the same identical numbers ’62’ with other tags such as Meru replaced by Kisumu.

Plate number was not revealed from the photos shared by county officials on social media, leaving a question hanging in the air over the ownership of the engine.

Recently Kisumu had cried for a fire engine to save the city which was occasioned by fire-break ups.

County officials from Meru County and Kisumu county have not yet responded to the viral photos

Nationally, Kenyan county bosses have been launching controversial projects which many think are meant to hide from corruption deals
