When Freshly Mwamburi sang Stella Wangu, he never new that his song will cut through decades and millenniums. But just like other lucky artists, his bet was right.
In the song he laments about his girlfriend who won a Japanese scholarship, Mwamburi had to sell some of his valuables including a piece of land to ensure that his love never had hard time in Japan.
But when the lady came back from Japan, on May 5, 1992, he received a rude shock when she came down accompanied by a Japanese husband with a kid.
