Sometimes a man will know the right woman when he meets her. Sometimes though, a man needs a nudge in the right direction. If you are with a man who appears like he needs to be nudged to take you on the walk down the aisle, here are tips to get him to commit;

1. Know him – Before you start this campaign of turning your man into Mr Right, ask yourself if he is the commitment type. Does he seem like a man who would be comfortable being married and having children? If he doesn’t, don’t try to change him. Just let him be. If he is, then you can look at the other tips.

2. Don’t play games – There is nothing the average man hates than a woman who isn’t forthright about what she wants, a woman who likes playing games. Don’t even think about lying to a man that you are pregnant or actually falling pregnant in an attempt to get him to commit. This might end up with him moving on and you getting left behind with a broken heart and a baby in your hands.

3. Forge an emotional connection – It is great that you and your man have a great physical connection. It however isn’t enough to get him to commit to you. You need to forge a real emotional connection with him. Be the person that he shares his deepest fears with.

4. Be confident – Getting the man of your dreams to commit to you may be as easy as going after him. There is something incredibly sexy about the woman who knows what she wants and goes after it.

5. Stop trying – You must have heard someone narrate how they met their soul mates when they stopped searching. It is the same concept with getting a man to commit. When you are desperate to get a man to commit, he usually can smell the desperation and it is off putting. When you cease with the desperation, he will get interested in you. You will eventually lead him into believing that it was his idea to start with.

6. The social dots – For every man, family and friends are an important part of his life. To get a ring on your finger, you will need to wade your way intro this circle. Use all your charm to get his family and friends to like you. It should be all smooth from here to the altar.

7. Don’t nag – Men mean it when they say that they hate nagging women. You have no business nagging a man if you are just his girlfriend. Try encouraging him. Show him that you believe in his abilities and in his dreams.
