Witness accounts have pointed out that poor state of the engine could have led to Uganda boat tragedy that claimed more than 35 lives few days ago.
The boat which was largely occupied by party-goers could have the engine on and off amid he lake besides being overwhelmed by the strong waves.
Sooner than later, music instruments went down into the waters as the waters quickly made into the deep waters.
Canoes from the shores arrived in good time for rescue operations, but the first canoe which arrived ahead of others was overwhelmed and killed all except one who boarded it, including the rescuers
Below is a video that captured one of the final moments before it sunk on Saturday 24th November evening.
Ugandan authorities noted that the boat was not operating on license.
