Leicester City FC owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was in the chopper that crashed immediately after their game with Westham United at their home ground King Power Stadium.
Under Mr Srivaddhanaprabha’s ownership, Leicester City won the Premier League in 2016, having started the season as 5,000/1 outsiders.
It is not clear how many people were on board. One witness said that he saw player Kasper Schmeichel run towards the crash scene.
