Liberian President George Weah who retired 16 years ago from football announced his comeback when he played against Nigeria in a friendly game aged 51 years old.
The former Player of the Year award winner (Ballon dÓr) entertained his fans as he showed his golden old skills in his favorite jersey number 14, the same number he used while playing for Ac Milan.
George Weah also played for Monaco, Paris St Germain, AC Milan, Chelsea, Manchester City and Marseille.
His son Timothy plays for PSG even though he was also engaged in USA’s friendly with Mexico.
Weah however came off during the 71st minute of play in a match they lost 2-1 to Super Eagles who fielded a much stronger side
