The last time Lilian Muli was blasted on social media for her ‘awkward’ sex related question was during the release of KCPE 2017.
Then she asked the little KCPE 16 year old top girl, whether she had a boyfriend while still preparing for her final exams, Goldalyn Kakuyu had to respond to the question, in the presence of her mum and dad.
Social media never liked the idea from Lilian Muli, and for another inicident again, Lilian Muli has left a storm on social media when she was interviewing a rape victim on her Sunday Live Show hosted on Citizen TV.
In the question she posed, she sought to know whether the rape victim had provoked the perpetrators in away to lead to a rape. Something that has added fire into the storm.
The victim was a survivor of a rape ordeal in 2015, where a group of gang attacked their house in Kibera slum before raping Irene Karimi
She posed the question as quoted below
Lilian Muli: could you’ve said/done something? Were you dressed a certain way?…initially their intention was to steal, do you recall exactly how this happened & who started it?
Interview
Outrage
I think Lillian Muli was trying to get a better perspective of the ordeal from Irene
I don't think she thinks how you are dressed causes rape!
And I understand why it infuriates alot of you!
But I doubt she was trying to be insensitive!

That was Lillian Muli, a career journalist with the resources & ability to research & prepare, conducting her interview in a relaxed studio. How worse then do you imagine the experience is for sexual assault victims at the hands of cops?
"Why didn't she report?"

Lillian Muli actually asked a survivor of a violent rape by home invaders if she offended them, or was dressed in such a manner as to provoke them into assaulting her. She ACTUALLY did that. LILLIAN MULI DID THIS ON PRIME TIME NEWS. https://t.co/p9BodE6Z77

Irene: 10 thieves broke into my house at night beat, robbed & RAPED me
Lilian Muli: could you've said/done something? Were you dressed a certain way?…initially their intention was to steal, do you recall exactly how this happened & who started it?
So unfortunate & disgusting! https://t.co/g8s1StiYXp
