A campaign by teachers on concerned with the poor payment of BOM employed teachers have raised shameful trend to shame the schools and ensure better pay for their fellow not employed by TSC.
This time we need to strongly voice out our concerns to Heads of Institutions and BOM’s who fire teachers agitating for better terms of service including salaries recklessly to understand our pains as we hustle to bring something on the table amidst all the challenges we face in their stations!
_We’re pushing for minimum salaries for all private/BOM teachers to Kshs.15,000/ in primary schools/academies and Kshs.25,000/ in secondary ones!* We are in consultations with the Department of Labour (in the national ministry) to address these injustices meted against our brethren beginning January 2019!_
