The Kenyan TV show Junior brought memorable characters to viewers when it aired on KTN Home from 2014 to 2021. This family drama quickly became a favorite on Sunday evenings, introducing young, talented actors who entertained and captured the hearts of many. Ten years later, many of these actors have taken on new life paths, with some staying in entertainment, while others pursued different careers. Here’s a look at where the cast of Junior is today.

1. Easton Abraham Asmlash – Junior

Easton played the lead role, portraying Junior, a quiet and well-behaved boy often caught in amusing situations. Now an adult, Easton took a surprising turn and entered the music scene, exploring Gengetone. Currently residing abroad, Easton keeps a low profile on social media, leaving fans curious about his life journey.

2. Suleiman Sharrif Mohammed – Baken

Suleiman, who portrayed the witty and mischievous Baken, became well-known for his humorous role. After Junior, he participated in other local productions but then disappeared from the public eye. He resurfaced briefly in 2023 following a controversial incident where he was allegedly involved in theft, but since then, he’s remained out of the spotlight.

3. Lattifah Twahir – Toti

Lattifah played Toti, Junior’s sister and the sensible, well-behaved “daddy’s girl” who occasionally got into mischief with her brothers. Today, she’s a content creator and works as a senior staff member at Kikao Chill and Vibe Lounge. Lattifah is also a mother of one and shares snippets of her personal life on social media, where she has a growing following.

4. Jammal Gadaffi – Baba Junior

Jammal portrayed the warm and protective Baba Junior, the fatherly figure in the show. Tragically, his life was cut short in 2018 after he was allegedly stabbed by his partner. Before his passing, Jammal appeared in other popular Kenyan TV series, such as Auntie Boss and Vioja Mahakamani, showcasing his versatility as an actor.

5. Farzana – Shosh

Known as Shosh, Farzana played the role of the grandmother who lovingly cared for Junior, Toti, and Baken when their father wasn’t around. After Junior, she ventured into various business endeavors. Unfortunately, these ventures were unsuccessful, and she recently appealed for assistance to find stable work or financial support.

Reflecting on Junior and Its Legacy

The actors from Junior left a lasting impact on Kenya’s television scene, showcasing the potential of young talent in local entertainment. Their lives after the show are a reminder of the varied paths actors often take after early fame.
