Christmas might have come early for one lucky hawker in Nairobi after President Uhuru Kenyatta stopped his motorcade to buy bananas from him.
The lucky man also had his fame moment to shake hands with the commander in chief as he headed to Uhuru Gardens Primary School in Langata, Nairobi, ahead of day of the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education examinations.
“Asante sana, asante, hii ni ya breakfast,” President Uhuru thanked the man as he handed the bananas to one of his aides and asked them to pay undisclosed amount of money
