During the burial of her grandma on 14th June 2019, Oscar Award winner actress Lupiter Nyong’o flied to Kenya on the very Friday for the send off party.
The event took place at the home of the late Mzee Hesbon Nyong’o’s home in Rata, Seme, Kisumu County.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga led other high profile leaders during the burial ceremony.
Lupita has visited Kenya three times in public arena since she won the lucrative Oscar Award in 2014 for her role on the ‘12 Years a Slave movie‘.
