Through a statement they have expressed their pain with the following text: «With our deepest sadness we have to announce the death of our son. It is the greatest pain that parents can feel. Only the birth of our daughter gives us the strength to live this moment with a little more hope and happiness.
In this way, Cristiano and Georgina have also explained that, fortunately, the other baby was born without apparent problems.

In the statement in question, Cristiano and Georgina also wanted to thank “the care and support of the doctors and nurses.” They explain that, quite understandably, they are “devastated” and ask for “privacy at such a difficult time.”
They end the text with a very emotional message: “Our baby, our angel. We will always love you”. The news is very recent, so the Manchester United footballer has not yet explained whether this loss will affect his sports career imminently, in the sense of whether he will be able to finish the season on a regular basis.
The couple Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez had announced that they were expecting twins last October in 2021. No problems had been reported so far, when it was known that one of the two babies had died during childbirth.
Cristiano and Georgina have another daughter together, Alana Martina, who was born in November 2017 and is already four years old. In addition, the Portuguese striker is also the father of Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., his eldest son, of another pair of twins, Eva and Mateo, and of the baby who has survived the birth where the sixth child of the footballer has died. At the moment, Cristiano and Georgina have not released the name of this daughter, who is the second they have in common.
