West Pokot county’s second man in command Dr. Nicholas Atudonyang has baffled may Kenyans after it emerged that he was running his county office on wire from USA.
Deputy Governor Dr. Nicholas Atudonyang is said to have continuously ran the government for atleast 8 years while being able to work at his job as a doctor in USA.
Launching the complain, Independent Pokot Leaders Forum (IPLF) stated that the county’s second boss had reported back to his job, immediately after the swearing in ceremony, at Texas in USA where he is working as a neurosurgeon.
The forum is now demanding a quick action from the man who appointed him, Governor John Lonyangapuo.
“He must relinquish the position if he can’t stay in Kenya and work for the Pokot. We have many challenges due to poor leadership .We have seen many referrals to Eldoret and shortage of drugs,” IPLF chairman Ezekiel Pyegoh stated.
The missing man in action has also derailed key health services in his docket where he was appointed as a Health Chief Executive
