Veteran media personality Michael Njenga has shared a deeply personal look into his recent health scare, revealing he was hospitalised in the United States. The Inooro TV presenter posted a moving video collage that documented his experience from the moment he was rushed to the emergency room to his eventual discharge and recovery.
The video began with emotional scenes of Njenga being wheeled into an emergency room, visibly weak and wearing a stained shirt. Later clips showed him gradually gaining strength while lying in a hospital bed, eventually changing into hospital-issued attire and offering reassuring gestures, such as a thumbs-up, to show he was on the mend.
Njenga’s recovery journey also included heartfelt moments of spiritual support. The video captured scenes of family and friends visiting him during his hospital stay, praying at his bedside, and reading the Bible aloud. These moments highlighted the strong faith and love surrounding him throughout the ordeal.
One of the final clips showed Njenga outside the hospital, smiling broadly and posing with loved ones. In another, he was seen sharing a meal with family, symbolising the return to normalcy after a challenging period.
Accompanying the video was a powerful caption that read, “No weapon formed against me shall prosper,” and an audio overlay stating, “The enemy thought he had me, but Jesus said you are mine.” While Njenga did not disclose the specific illness he was battling, his message underscored the role faith played in his healing process.
The video served as both an update and a message of gratitude, reflecting his resilience and spiritual strength. It also reinforced Njenga’s standing as a beloved figure in the Kenyan media landscape, admired not only for his work but also for his openness during vulnerable times.
