Kenyan international Michael Olunga is set to have a record breaking move to Qatari-based side Al Duhail from Japanese J-League 1 outfit Kashiwa Reysol.
According to Qatar local media, Olunga will move on a Sh.800M deal and could play against Xavi-managed Al-Sadd on Tuesday, January 12.
The 26-year-old Olunga, finished at J-League as the top-scorer with 28 goals in 32 appearances, earning a historic golden boot, the first ever to be won by an African.
Last year, Olunga netted 15 goals in 15 games before he was awarded with named the league’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) in September 2020
