A pregnant mum has created a buzz after posing for maternity photos - with 20,000 BEES swarming around her baby bump. See SWNS story NYCBEE. Brave Emily Mueller got the honeybees to settle on her swollen stomach by holding the queen bee in a cage in her hand. The 33-year-old is a full-time beekeeper who keeps 24 hives containing around 1.2 millions bees and says she’s been stung a whopping 350 times this year alone. But she said she wasn’t scared about having the photos taken because she feels at ease with the insects. On the morning of the shoot, Emily was called to a job which required her to remove a hive from a park and she used those bees for the pictures. Despite being stung three times, she says the end result was worth it.

An Ohio Woman in the US has shocked many baby bumps revelers by swimming in a swarm of bees during a photo-shoot.

That’s about 20,000 live bees around you!, It is not what you think about photo-shop!

“People think I’m putting my baby at harm,” Emily Mueller, a beekeeper and owner of Mueller Honey Bee and Rescue, tells PEOPLE.A local paper in US

She continues by explaining how kind bees can be

“But bees are gentle and I hope my bee belly helps people see that they aren’t as scary as you might think.”

Just like the way everyone if not all is scared of bees, she was also scared, at times she felt like short of adrenaline in her system

“Not scary, but intense,” she explains. “Sure, I was nervous at first, but then it’s so exciting in the moment. My adrenaline was rushing and I was only focused on the 20,000 bees on me.

She likened the experience to that of a spiritual one with nature.

“It was absolutely amazing to connect with nature in that way and to have the bees directly on my womb was so spiritual.”

To Emily with her husband Mueller, Bees represent the very beginning of their livelihood in pregnancy and start of conception. They started keeping bees after several miscarriages.

“Bees represent the beginning of new life and after my second miscarriage, I needed a new release,” she says. “I connected with the bees and it helped take my mind off of other hardships that were surrounding me at the time, some people do yoga… I do bees.”

But how does Emily win the hearts of the bees?

“When I approach bees, I know if they are aggressive or not based on their behavior and their response to me,” she says. “I did the [hive] removal off of a park bench with parks and rec standing a few feet away.”

Emily could immediately tell the swarm was gentle. She then took it home and “manipulated it” by removing the swarm from one hive to another, testing stress levels.

Emily, 33, and Ryan, 37, have three children — Cadyn, 10, Madelynn, 3, and Westyn, 1 — and were ecstatic to learn they were pregnant with a fourth child.

“It’s going to be our last child,” says Emily, who is due in November. “So we knew we had to commemorate the last pregnancy in a special way.

“And of course, crazy me, I’m like, I have to do a bee belly photoshoot!”

Besides the friendly level of the bees, she employed one crucial trick, she fed the bees with enough sugar water so that they won’t be able to bend and sting.

In the photo below, she manipulated the bees to her belly by carrying the queen bee to the belly so that the rest of the bees could follow on to their queen.

“I pressed my hand to my belly, because bees follow their queen, so they would settle on my womb,” she explains. “People feel like I’m endangering my child, but it’s due to a lack of education on honey bees — they don’t understand how gentle they really are.”

“I am in my beehives on a regular basis, I do it as a full time job so for me it’s normal to have bees on me,” she says. “It’s normal.”

During the process, the was not spared neither, she was stung on 4 different occasion, which she admits that it was her dire fault after squeezing down several of them .

But also, this was not her first time to be stung while pregnant, the good news was that bee stings were likely not to affect her unborn baby

“I was going to rip my dress off and run into the garage,” says Emily. “Then I would turn the light on and bees fly to light when it’s there.”

Recently, bees attacked demonstrators in Nairobi who had camped outside Supreme Court chambers chanting anti-Maraga slogans.

One person was seriously injured but was later treated and released .
