Kenyan lawyer and political activist based in Ontario, Canada has rebuked Eva Buyu’s appointment to a state job by President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government.

Ms Eva Buyu was appointed to be part of the members of the Export Processing Zones Authority board for three years.
Ms Buyu was wife to Chris Msando, former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) ICT Manager who was found murdered days to election day during 2017 August elections.
The widow was among several Presidential appointees on the gazette notice dated 21st September. Among them were largely election losers of 2017 August elections
