Content creator Milly Wa Jesus recently accompanied her husband, Kabi Wa Jesus, to a comedy roast show where he became the subject of jokes centered around his controversial past. A now-viral video captured Kabi’s mixed reactions as comedians humorously attacked various aspects of his life, including the widely publicized issue of him fathering a child with his cousin.

The show, known for inviting celebrities to sit through tough and often uncomfortable jokes, did not spare Kabi. As comedians took turns on stage, they referenced his career and the scandal that shook the internet in 2021. At the time, Kabi had initially denied claims of impregnating his cousin but later admitted to being the father after DNA test results confirmed it.

One comedian humorously pointed out that Kabi had become successful despite lacking what they described as “any real talent.” Another joked that when Kabi was invited to the show’s venue, the Alloy Bar and Lounge, he thought it was about fine dining and international cuisine, playing on the word “cuisine” versus “cousin” to make fun of the past scandal. The jokes continued with references to Kabi and Milly’s brand as content creators, joking that their main business seemed to be child creation and gender reveal videos.

Milly Wa Jesus was visibly uncomfortable during the show. At one point, she could be seen hiding her face as the comedians intensified their jokes. Kabi himself appeared stunned and unsure whether to laugh or remain serious as the comedians continued with their harsh punchlines.

Another comedian on the panel even questioned what Kabi’s daughter, whom he shares with his cousin, might call him, adding another layer to the roasting session. The jokes touched on family planning, with one comedian quipping that Kabi misunderstood the government’s plans, taking it as personal advice to expand his own family.

Following the show, the video sparked widespread discussion online, with many people sympathizing with Milly for sitting through the session. Some questioned the boundaries of comedy, especially when it comes to sensitive personal matters.

Milly Wa Jesus has previously opened up about the ongoing challenges between Kabi and his baby mama, who also happens to be his cousin. She once mentioned in an interview that there was a court case surrounding the situation and expressed hope that one day, co-parenting would become smooth for everyone involved. Milly also shared her pain, saying people often fail to see how emotionally taxing the situation has been for her as a wife and a mother.

Despite the emotional toll, both Kabi and Milly continue to share their family journey online, with a loyal fan base that follows their content. Whether the roast show appearance will affect their public image remains to be seen, but the clip continues to gain traction across social media platforms.
