A building in Kariobangi collapsed this morning.
The five storey building was empty having been deserted by residents and had been earmarked for demolition. This came after a wall fell on three workers working on a trench next to the house. Three people died while 7 others were injured highlighting the risk at which residents in the area were living in prompting the moving out.
County officials have said the house was built on riparian land which is why it was being earmarked for evacuation. However, before all that had been done the building came down in quite an astonishing manner that will have you question the stability of your building. Luckily, no casualty was resported. The whole event was captured on camera and it is quite scary
