Mo Salah Steals Show At US-Celeb Studded Time 100 Gala Awards

Mohammed Salah, Liverpool top forward stole the show when he stepped on red carpet at the Time top 100 most influential people in 2019.

The event held in US’s New York city was a star studded affair with show bizz celebs such as Taylor Swift, Jimmy Fallon, Brie Larson, Naomi Campbell and Dwayne Johnson.

During an interview with the Time Magazine, he waged a huge support on how women should be treated

‘I support the women more than I did before, because I feel like they deserve more than what they’re given at the moment.

Time, British comedian and Liverpool fan John Oliver could not hide his love for Mo Salah.

‘Mo Salah is a better human being than he is a football player. And he’s one of the best football players in the world,’ he wrote.

After moving to Liverpool in 2017, Salah has won the following awards.

  1. Premier League Golden Boot in 2017/18 season
  2. Top 100 Most Influential People in 2019
  3. Confederation of African Football’s Player of the Year – 2019.
  4. PFA Players’ Player of the Year  – 2018
  5. Confederation of African Football’s Player of the Year – 2018
  6. Football Writers’ Association’s Footballer of the Year – 2018
