Kenyan politician and businessman Morara Kebaso has disclosed that his net worth is over KSh 100 million, leaving many Kenyans questioning why he still asks for financial support from the public. Despite his wealth, the activist-turned-politician maintains that public affairs should be funded by the public.

Morara Kebaso’s Wealth and Investments

Speaking in an interview with Dr. King’ori, Morara revealed that he is not actively chasing money but instead waits for opportunities to come his way. At just 29 years old, he claims to have already built a fortune, primarily through real estate, fashion, and carpentry.

“Sitafuti doe, I’m 29. I don’t want to talk about my net worth, but it is way above 100 million. Right now, I don’t go chasing for deals; I wait for deals that come.”

Morara owns a furniture business, a fashion brand called Luku Fashion, and is involved in container-based real estate projects where he converts shipping containers into workspaces. He insists that it is possible to make good money in Kenya without engaging in corruption.

Why Does Morara Still Ask for Public Donations?

Despite his impressive financial status, Morara has continued to use fundraising methods, including paybill numbers, to seek financial support. Responding to criticism, he defended his actions by stating that public affairs should be financed by the public.

“It was a three-hour interview in which I shared my journey to what I have today and how I achieved it. With regards to paybill and fundraising, the answer is yes, I will continue because public affairs should be funded by the public.”

Mysterious Incident: Coffins Left at Morara’s Home and Office

In a bizarre twist, Morara recently found small coffins abandoned outside his home and office, containing photos of him and his wife, dead chickens, and children’s toys. He shared images on social media, expressing shock at the unsettling discovery, which some speculated was an act of witchcraft or intimidation.

While Morara Kebaso has built an impressive fortune at a young age, his approach to seeking public donations has left many questioning his motives. As he continues to advocate for public funding of political causes, the debate over his financial ethics and political strategies is unlikely to fade anytime soon.
