A freak accident claimed the life of bodyguard Fred Owich and left Migori Woman Representative Dr. Pamela Odhiambo critically injured.
The accident which occurred on Sunday happened at at Winyo area on the Homa Bay – Rongo highway.
According to the Rongo OCPD Peter Kirui the Women Rep, driver and bodyguard were on their to Migori during which their double cabin vehicle veered off the road before rolling several times.
The injured were taken to a hospital in Kisumu while the dead was moved to Rosewood hospital mortuary. The wreckage of the vehicle was towed to Rongo Police Station
