A boda boda shade built by Kajiado county government has sparked social media outrage.
The shade which was built and launched few weeks ago to cushion the boda boda riders from poor weather conditions, has a deep sewage trench running through it with barely no space for the riders to have comfort.
Kenyans questioned on the regards to the person who was awarded with the tender.
For 2018/2019, governor is Joseph Ole Lenku who is in charge of Kajiado county, received budget allocation of Sh 5.7 billion in the financial year 2018/2019.
“I don’t see why they used our money to build this shed yet as you can see it’s not helpful. They should find a way to seal this part under the shed so that we can be able to park our bikes inside the shade,” said one boda boda operator.
