A young lady studying in one of Universities in Nairobi has opened up in an expose interview with a BBC reporter over her survival in campus with ‘sponsors’.
The young girls only identified as ‘Jane’ admitted that she had to sleep with old men in order to make ends meet in her life.
Jane also revealed in the interview that she was inspired by famous socialite show dubbed ‘Nairobi Diaries’ which portrayed young women trading sex with old married men.

Jane says that she uses part of her money to remit at their home for the family use. She says her mum who is a motivational HIV/AIDS speaker can not mint enough money for the whole family.
Her dad too whom they are not in close contact doesn’t have a good job.
