Over the weekend, robbers shock Kenyans after they broke into a local bank in Nairobi, took their packed food before they made away with millions of cash.

The unknown robbers broke into the Habib Bank AG Zurich via the rear door, went into the second floor for the purpose of rending the alarm and CCTV cameras useless.

The thugs used papers against tinted windows to camouflage from the guards outside, before breaking into several safes using gas wielding machines. Despite the fact that they failed to break into the main strong room which had intact 41 million shillings, they still made away with lots of unknown cash.

They then went ahead to have their meal which was packed in small food boxes. The remains of githeri, chicken, chips, beef and rice were found after they had  left.

Initial reports by police pointed out to inside job as the bank remained closed.

Detectives also interrogated workers.
