Nairobi came alive on Thursday, October 2, as the city’s entertainment scene celebrated the official launch of Single Kiasi Season 4 on Showmax and the unveiling of Maisha Magic Plus’ new drama, Lazizi. The double event at Monaco Nairobi, opposite Village Market, drew actors, producers, media personalities, and fans for a vibrant showcase of Kenyan storytelling and creative talent.
Guests enjoyed a sneak peek of Single Kiasi Season 4, which continues to explore relatable experiences and daily struggles across themes of love, friendship, and career challenges. Produced and directed by Grace Kahaki and Phil Bresson of Insignia Productions, the series follows three friends—Rebecca, Sintamei, and Mariah—as they navigate romance, work, and personal growth. The show has earned four Kalasha Awards nominations and was named Best TV Drama in East Africa at the 2025 Zanzibar International Film Festival, confirming its place among Kenya’s most popular locally produced dramas.
The event also marked the premiere of Lazizi, a Maisha Magic Plus telenovela that blends drama, suspense, and political intrigue. Lazizi tells the story of a sugarcane mogul with political ambitions whose past threatens to unravel his carefully built image.
