A Saturday night inferno gutted down Gloria Hotel, located at the junction of Tom Mboya and Ronald Ngala streets, which is owned by George Kirubi the husband of late Janet Wangui Waiyaki.
The building which was damaged by fire was hosting shops on the ground floor, a night club, restaurant and hotel rooms
Late Janet Wangui Waiyaki was shot at last month at City Park in Nairobi, after police had mistakenly thought they were on a malicious mission with her cousin Benard Chege, 26 years .
Her cousin was left nursing serious wounds in an ICU facility.
The police who shot at the two have already been charged and found guilty.
