Octopizzo also known as “number nane” is one of the most known rappers in Kenya and in East Africa. He has received several awards but when Bingwa awards gave him the best comeback artiste of the year award, he turned it down saying that they did not do enough background research on him to know that he has been on top since his 1st hit and that he puts more work than any other artiste in his genre which is Hip-hop.

He went ahead to give the Bingwa awards suggestions and who they should have given the award to, “So if you don’t mind please give my award to Wahu who was in the same category”
This brought a feud between him and Nameless, Wahu’s husband as he found it very disrespectful that he would even say that.
Octopizzo went online to say that” I respect Nameless and respect Wahu. I have been a fan since class 8 and still a fan. I will vote for Wahu any day, not only her but all the female artists out there. I will always fight for you Queen Beli’Dat!!
Fans bashed Octopizzo for what he had said but after they say his response to Nameless, let’s just say Octopizzo got back in their good books.
Do you think that Octopizzo meant what he had told the Bingwa awards people?
