Haranbee Stars win over Congo (1-0 ) has sparked  mixed reaction especially on the analysts who had predicted not only his loss but also his pending suck from the top position.

The slim win in better placed Kinshasa could be an antidote that the Stars have been waiting for decades now.

“Stars’ win was masterminded without skipper Victor Wanyama and the exciting speedy winger Ayub Timbe – arguably the best players in Stars rank alongside Olunga and vice captain, David ‘Calabar’ Owino”, said Nick Mwendwa, his FKF boss.

Initially  analysts had forged on Okumbi’s poor ran and his ‘discriminatory’ appointment. They were left guessing how the young coach had escaped the strong attacking force of Congo and even how he managed to put a goal behind the strong side of the defence
