In 2019 October, a show which began 13 years ago in 2006 took a big break, which basically signified its ending.
The popular Machachari show, which was aired on Citizen TV, was about the lives of young children and how they relate with day to day life activities.
Royal Media Services production manager Stanley Ngige was not wrong when he said that the show ended because the kids outgrew it.
“The story came to an end. This Friday is the grand finale.”
“It didn’t evolve to remain relevant to the target audience, and the best we could do is develop the story to come to an end so that we can start a new show (‘Johari’) for the same target audience,” Ngige said.
