Police in Nakuru are interrogating a man who weaved his way and managed to greet President Uhuru Kenyatta on the VIP dais before handing him a ‘letter’ during the Madaraka Day celebrations.
DCI boss Gideon Kibunja said on Thursday the man was being questioned to establish his motive after the incident.
“The man was arrested and is in police custody to establish why he disregarded the security to reach for the head of state,” said Mr Kibunja.
