Polycarp Igathe, ex Nairobi Deputy Governor was confirmed as the new Managing director for Equity Bank Group.
Rather than current MD James Mwangi stepping down, he will stay on as Group MD in charge of strategy and oversight.
Why would James Mwangi be in the same position if Igathe is the MD? What's the difference btn MD & Group MD & CEO? To me that's two drawing salaries for the same position
