President Uhuru Reshuffles Cabinet, Echesa Replaced By Amina

Days after talking about mega corruption scandals in the country, President Uhuru Kenyatta has reshuffled the cabinet.

Sports CS was fired and immediately replaced by former Education CS Amina Mohammed.

Her former position was taken over by current Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec) Chairman Prof. George Magoha.

His job now depends on parliament’s approval.

Broadcasting and Telecommunication Principal Secretary Fatuma Hirsi was another casualty who was fired in the mini-reshuffle program.

“In accordance with Article 155 of the Constitution, the appointment of Mrs Fatuma Hirsi, as a Principal Secretary has been vacated,” Mr Kenyatta said
