During the ongoing sixth edition of the devolution conference in Kirinyaga county, President Uhuru Kenyatta laid onslaught on corruption cartels and warned them of dire consequences including facing the law.
He also spoke vehemently against corruption ‘witnesses’ to report the cases to the DCI offices or go straight to the court rather than resorting to politic in funeral functions.
From his tough voice, and strong gestures with hardened facial expressions, it was obvious that President Uhuru had had enough of the corruption scandals that have been bedevilling his government
However his female sign language interpreter who was present to help the deaf get the message in a way they could understand best, ended up stealing some lime light
The language interpreter was literary translating everything, including laughs, hand gestures and smile and at times frowned when the president did so.
