Radio Africa Group which is the parent media house for Kiss FM and Classic 105, has been shopping for journalists as it prepares to launch a new TV station.
It is arguably the strongest sports crew ever to be assembled by Radio Africa. The pool of talent the group boasts of is amazing and that’s why Bamba Sports has been born. Reliable sources tell Ghafla! Bamba Sports will be the first ever 24hour sports channel in Kenya.
Bamba Sport will be headed by Classic FM’s Carol Radull who is arguably the most passionate female football fan who supports Arsenal.
KTN will also be receiving live feed from Bamba Sport as Ghafla! is also told Standard Group co-owns Bamba Sports with Radio Africa.
Sports aficionados; Kieni Githinji, Roy Karuhize and ex KTN sports anchor, Nick Mudimba, are some of the journalists who have been recruited to run Bamba Sports.
Radio Jambo presenter and ex Harambee Stars coach, Jacob Ghost Mulee, will also be part of the team at Bamba Sports.
