Several people have also made an effort to visit him in hospital like his colleagues Shaffie Weru and Gidi Gidi. The ever jovial radio personality was busking in the love and support from his friends and family. Well, Maina Kageni was recently discharged after his knee surgery was a success. He was treated at the Aga Khan Hospital after an MRI scan showed the damaged ligaments of his knee after he twisted his knee after slipping.

Now Maina wants to reassure his fans that he is recuperating well and soon he will be back on air.

He wrote on his Facebook page,

“Just to update you all, I’m now out but still taking a breather to heal and get back on form. Thanks for all your prayers, messages and visits. I really appreciate you all from the bottom of my heart!

Acts 17:24-25 NIV
“The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.”
