Tanzanian singer based in Kenya, Ray C has announced her comeback with a shocking death wish.

Sam wa Ukweli

She was very categorical that her music should not be played once she dies. But why did she make such a wish?

She was making these remarks after a Tanzanian singer, Sam wa Ukweli died while in the studio.

Late Sam wa Ukweli’s musics have gone viral in radios and TV stations, something that Ray C sees as a mockery to artists.

She wondered why media gives massive airtime to artists once they are dead instead of promoting them when they are still alive.

“Sometimes I wonder what’s with the bongo media. You have to die for your songs to receive massive airplay including the ones that have not been officially released. What’s the purpose of supporting us when we are dead? When I die they shouldn’t even bother giving me a promo,” said Ray C.
