Far from the believe that private universities are for those who did not score good grades in High school, these campuses are actually better equipped than most public universities. This is evident especially in welfare- hostels, serenity etc- but also, in the time taken to finish up a course there.
The only courses that are rarely offered here are medicine and engineering- probably for their sensitive case. But there are very many students who pass their KSCE remarkably and choose to join them for various reasons. Basically, most of the students in private universities are are private-sponsored (PSSP) or what they call Module II. They offer courses from without necessarily having to involve the students at the main campuses.
