Murangá Women Representative Sabina Chege angered social media on Saturday June 29th in 2019 after she was accused of shading ‘crocodile’ tears at the home of late Baby Pendo.

MP Chege had visited the home together with other women leaders under the tag Embrace Movement.
Baby Pendo, a six-month year old baby girl, was hit on her head when police unleashed their brutality during the 2017 protested general elections.
The incident took place in their house after police pounced on them when they refused to open their door.
Her mother said that the police used a crude weapon to hit her on her head.
Sabiga Chege, was heckled on social media, because during that time, she was under the Jubilee Government support, where she had a chance to fight police brutality but choose otherwise.
