Murangá Women Representative Sabina Chege angered social media on Saturday June 29th in 2019 after she was accused of shading ‘crocodile’ tears at the home of late Baby Pendo.

In the photos shared online, MP Chege is seen figting back tears at the home of late Baby Pendo, Nyalenda slums, Kisumu County

MP Chege had visited the home together with other women leaders under the tag  Embrace Movement.

Baby Pendo, a six-month year old baby girl, was hit on her head when police unleashed their brutality during the 2017 protested general elections.

The incident took place in their house after police pounced on them when they refused to open their door.

Her mother said that the police used a crude weapon to hit her on her head.

Sabiga Chege, was heckled on social media, because during that time, she was under the Jubilee Government support, where she had a chance to fight police brutality but choose otherwise.

Sabina Chege was part of the despotic team that caused all this misery….This is just PR https://t.co/7VZPvaBmGg

Almost 2 years later, covered by the pretence of handshake..Sabina Chege thinks her tears can wash away the memory of what led to Pendo's death.

Sabina Chege is a clear example of what the wise term as shedding crocodile tears. She has mastered the art however it's always used in the wrong forum's and venues.

Sabina Chege and other ndombolo ya kiuno dancers must be told openly that they are part and parcel of the criminal mafia that steal elections, torture, maim and kill innocent citizens like Baby Pendo. She and her fellow mafia must stop dancing for despots. #DespotsMustFall
