Transition from salaried to self-employment can be a challenge. You are tired of waking up very early in the morning. You spend long hours in traffic. You drain yourself with work and at the end of the day; a piece of you goes away. Is it worth it? Do you want to be in the cubicle for the rest of your life? No! What next? How do you even start thinking about quitting your job? With shrinking economy and rising inflation, finding a safe haven is almost impossible. However, self-employment could be the answer to most of your problems. Look at the following reasons why you should quit that job and be self-employed.

You are the boss

Who doesn’t want to a boss anyway? Many people are doing everything to climb the managerial ladder and become bosses. Men and women are resorting to unorthodox methods to be in charge. Why the fuss about becoming a boss. Well, as the boss, everyone is under you. You call the shots. Your decision is final. No one threatens you as you have the powers to hire and fire. Think about all goodies that come with self-employment.

Have your schedule

As the boss of your job, you decide what time to wake up and leave office. You do not have to panic over morning traffic because you can work from home and report to your office later in the day. You have control of your working hours. No unpaid overtime. You get home early, help your kids do homework and sink in bed with your wife, right on time.

You enjoy all the profits

The beauty with self-employment is that you do not share the profits. You only decide on what to do with the money. Think about that! Cool, isn’t it? This is financial freedom. Unlike working for a company where you will never see change even when the organization emerges the top taxpayer, you enjoy every penny of your toil.

No work pressure.

Many people are dying today and developing incurable diseases because of work pressure. The boss is always on your neck for no good reason. The targets are way too high. You are just tired. You won’t experience the freedom you desire until you enough to a routine life and get into self-employment.

CAUTION: Self-employment is not a bed of roses. It is not a walk in the park. It has its fare share of immeasurable challenges. From the risks involved to the taxes you pay, putting up a business can be mind-boggling. Do not rush to quit your job before you ascertain the feasibility of your idea.
