Serena Williams will not be able to wear the tight black suit again at the French Open.

The president of the French Tennis Federation, Bernard Giudicelli, said that the tournament that Williams has won three times will debut to dress code to regulate the players’ dress because “I think we have sometimes gone very far”.

In an interview for the 500th issue of Tennis magazine, Giudicelli pointed to the postpartum suit that Williams wore this year at Roland Garros and that the American pointed out made her feel like a superhero.

“It will not be accepted,” Giudicelli said.

He also added that the new rules at Roland Garros will not be as strict as those at Wimbledon, which require players to dress in white, but “we will impose certain limits.”

Many uniforms for 2019 have already been designed, but Giudicelli said the French federation will ask the manufacturers to show them.
