Sharon Otieno who was murdered by cruel killers who stabbed her 8 times is set to be buried on 19th October this year.
The funeral committee chairman Elijah Opiyo has already noted that the funeral expenses will cost the family more than 1 million shillings.
Mr.Opiyo said that the family had held several meetings to ensure they give Sharon a decent send off.
“We have not hit the target to cater for the burial expenses and we are appealing to well-wishers to assist us,” Opiyo said adding that they were expecting many visitors on that day.
Sharon’s body will be removed from Kirindo Hospital in Mbita headed for burial at her grandfather’s home Magare Village, Kanyabala location where she will be buried.
Earlier there had been claims she will be buried at her ex husband’s home but the family has already resolved the puzzle.
Sharon’s unborn seven months baby was buried 4 weeks ago.
The family had initially vowed not to bury Sharon until her killers were found. Already Migori Governor Okoth Obado is in custody along with his aide Micheal Oyamo over the killing of Sharon.
