Ilka is a 26-year-old German girl who, despite her ectodermal dysplasia, decided to pose in the photos of her friends to transmit her strength and confidence to the whole world.
Ectodermal dysplasia is a genetic disorder that is characterized by the malformation of ectodermal structures, that is, teeth, skin, hair, among others.
“I remember the world that everyone is beautiful, I was born with a facial crack and malformed nasal passages, and I lacked the tear on the right side, the constant humidity of the eye made me always have tears on my face.” the young woman in an interview
She has suffered countless operations, but that did not stop her desire to share with the world how beautiful natural beauty can be.
For two years she has become an occasional model for her friends, at the same time her popularity in social networks has grown.
“There was so much positive response, which gave me more and more courage to show me how I am, pure and spontaneous,” adds Ilka.
We cannot deny that these images show an atmosphere of pure beauty, without fear, without taboos, without effects.
“There’s only one way to be ugly: having an ugly character, nobody has to hide because of his appearance.”
