The photos shared by Pastor Lethebo Rabalago of Limpopo province, the most southerly region in South Africa, have generated outrage because he shows how he sprays his followers with insecticide.
Under the pretext that he will “cure his ailments”, the man uses Doom Super Multi Insect Killer to spray the liquid on the face of his clients.
According to the church’s Facebook account, ‘The Prophet’ also orders’ demons’ to enter their followers’ human bodies to ‘talk to them about their day-to-day problems’ and then expel them, freeing them from their worries.
However, Tiger Brands, the company producing the insecticide, has described such practices as “alarming and extremely worrying”
