Have you ever spotted a lair during the act, notice how they fumble, avoid eye contact, try to look innocent and above all how they breathe fast with some kindness sweat.

Well those are the common traits doctors say say you should look up to a liar when you were not able to catch them. But as the old grandpa said, when the bird learnt to flying without landing, the hunter had to change his game.

What is so evident these days is that even amateur liars know how to hide and manipulate their body parts that may betray them. Living them victims with less to do.

According to Body language and communication expert Lillian Glass, PhD is that at such moment, one should turn to their own body language.

Notice how your body communicates to you when you catch a lair in the act, it is the same way it behaves when a lie is being said. The only difference is that the communication maybe too fuzzy to be detected.

It requires a lot of attention.

‘When someone lies, your own autonomic nervous system can pick it up,’ says Dr. Glass. So without even thinking about it, you’ll tilt your head, squint, or purse your lips, she says. Give it a try if you’re on the lookout for signs your coworker is untrustworthy.

You also don’t need to overthink now that you got to pay alot of attention.

If you pay attention to your own reactions in terms of the nuances of your own body language, it can help validate that you have just heard a lie,’ Glass says.
