Manchester City and England’s forward Raheem Sterling has sparked hash gun debate on social media after he shared his new tattoo.
The tattoo of an M16 assault riffle has earned him criticism and praise in equal measure.
Raheem Sterling, former Liverpool FC player is no doubt one of the most criticized players in the Premier League, and his tattoo debate comes as no shock.
He tried to explain himself after the debate came calling.
Below are some of the harsh debates on social media
I like Raheem Sterling. Talented, determined footballer, role model for a lot of kids, a great success story. A gun tattoo doesn’t look like his greatest idea ever (and yes I read his Instagram post, which was very sad), but who actually cares? It’s a tattoo. Give him a break FFS

So sick of some areas of the media constantly victimising Raheem Sterling. It's genuinely abhorrent now. So obsessive. Just leave him alone. It's time the FA actually stood up for him and had his back.
