On Saturday 24th, November 2018, a female student from high-end Brookhouse School committed by hanging herself in the prestigious estate, Runda.
The 18-year old Betty Nyakihiu Gichucha was found dangling in her room by her relatives after the bizarre incident.
The student who used a belt to hang herself was in year 13 at the school.
The incident was reported at Runda Police Station by her father and brother.
