Veteran Kenyan comedian Terence Creative has once again warmed hearts across the nation after helping a man from Rongai who was living in a makeshift shack secure a permanent home. The man, identified as Samson, had been struggling to find stable accommodation, living temporarily in a shack loaned to him for a few days.

In a heartfelt encounter captured on social media, Samson shared his story with Terence Creative, revealing his desperate efforts to raise enough money to rent a house where he could live peacefully and eventually be reunited with his child. Samson explained that the Federation of Women Lawyers in Kenya (FIDA) was set to assess his living conditions as part of a child custody process.

“As we speak right now, someone helped me get a stationery house [site]. That is why I am running up and down to get at least KSh 3,000 so I can get a place in Rongai so that even when I call those people to come see where I live, they can give me the child. When I stay with the child, I will be at rest,” Samson narrated during the video.

Moved by Samson’s plight, Terence Creative stepped in immediately, offering to cover the rent for three months. But the comedian went further, later pledging to pay the full year’s rent to give Samson a fresh start. When Terence visited the place where Samson was sleeping, it was clear he had very little—just the clothes on his back.

The moment Terence led Samson to the new house was emotional. Samson broke down in tears, laying on the floor to pray and give thanks for the new chapter in his life.

“Now this is your place. Stay and sleep however you want. Bring your child, so you can continue living together. This is more than shelter, it is a fresh start,” Terence told him.

The inspiring story quickly spread on social media, where netizens praised Terence Creative for his generosity and compassion. Many applauded him for going the extra mile, not just providing temporary relief but a lasting solution.

Terence’s generosity is not new. In a related act of kindness, he recently helped a street boy named Alex get off the streets by providing shelter, a haircut, and new clothes, transforming the young man’s life and renewing his hope.

Through these actions, Terence Creative continues to use his platform not only to entertain but also to uplift vulnerable people, showing that compassion and kindness can change lives.
