Brushing your teeth is not enough to have a healthy and strong denture. That is something that many people already know, and that now confirms a new study conducted at the University of Bern, in Switzerland.

Tokeo la picha la Toothpaste

Researchers have analyzed the effects of various toothpastes and have discovered that none of them is a useful tool to protect us from dental erosion.

In fact, there were some that even helped to please that undesired effect. Specifically, it was the most abrasive that, when mixed with the presence of food in the mouth, ended up affecting the denture, and making it become hypersensitive.

With this, the researchers do not mean that toothpaste is ineffective, but by itself it is not enough to preserve teeth intact.

To avoid the erosion of the teeth you have to combine brushing with a healthy diet, trying to limit the amount of soft drinks and processed foods.
